A full list of them is given in the preceding volumes, as well as a summary of Parish Register history. The registers in the present volume are all printed from their commencement down to the year 1812, which seems a convenient stopping-point, as then was inaugurated a new system of registration by what is known as Rose's Act, which lasted only till 18 37.
