This is a fantastic game! Somehow it slipped under my radar, but I am glad I played it.

Great graphics (except for the textures loading slowly sometimes), great sound, great story.

Gameplay is like a standard FPS, but the TMD makes for some interesting battles – throwing a time freeze ball into a group of enemies, walking through them whilst placing shotgun blasts strategically in front of their faces, then watching the resulting carnage after ufreezing – it never gets old :) ).

There is gore, dismemberment and the like, and it does have some bits which might scare you (think F.E.A.R.). Plenty of upgrades and weapons.

Overall: Fantastic, definitely worth at least 1 playthrough.

After a singularly (sorry couldn't resist that one) unpromising start – like being stuck in a gladatorial cage with the first ‘boss’ – no weapons, no ammo, for an hour..zzzzzzz . (worked out how to kill him finally). The game wasn't too bad. Length is a couple of nights worth, but the storyline is involved in the gameplay. There are some terribly stupid points – for gods' sake, will game developers PLEASE give me a break from utterly useless pistols...........AND could I have some weapons by the time I need them????? I don't want to ruin gameplay, but you lose the ability to ‘melee’ once you gain something else – er…hey, how come I can't melee all of a sudden?? (death until you work that one out). There are some really fun things – biffing big cans of explosive stuff is one of them… the “Seeker” is awesome fun.. Graphics quite good and some interesting concepts with time; the device is quite powerful once you figure out how to use it. The Russian soldiers calling out over and over and over…are really annoying – more impetus to find and kill them real fast). “Timeshift” was a better straight out shooter (if you want timechanging abilities), but this has some scary moments like “FEAR”, you will recognise some of the creatures if you play “Half Life” and the style of puzzle solving is more Half Life than “Myst”, but I guess with everything being so universally available it's harder to come up with entirely new beasts and puzzles. I will probably replay it, just to see if the ending is changed by the choice you make… All in all, not too bad, not utterly fantastic

I must say i wasn't sure what to expect from this game but having played and completed it, i would reccomend singularity to any gamer who enjoys a good shootem up, power up, or blow em up challenge ,hope they make a sequel. Lots of fun with a story and strategy .
