Ed Pritchard is one of the world's most recognized and quoted historians of fishing, angling, and fishing tackle. He began researching and collecting antique fishing tackle in the 1980s. He is the antique fishing-tackle expert for the International Game Fish Association (IGFA) and assisted in the opening of the IGFA Hall of Fame and Museum in Dania Beach, Florida. Timothy P. O'Brien, PhD, a native Miamian, grew up around angling, fishing tackle, stories, and the lore of big-game fish. O'Brien serves on the International Committee of Representatives of the IGFA and is a member of the Ecosystem and Ocean Planning Advisory Panel of the Mid-Atlantic Fisheries Management Council.
