"Great"

Not the biggest fan of Star Trek and have never really got into it before but this film is great for any big blockbuster fan.

Very much looking forward to this! Saw it in the movies and it was amazing. This is a must have for any Star-Trek fan, and in blu-ray it'll look amazing. Well worth it, can't wait to buy it :)

"action movie great star trek not so great"
3 stars"

As an action movie this was great very full on but as a major star trek fan ( I own all movies & series) this is a major let down they just keep changing things that don't need to be changed & making it more & more a movie that just doesn't have that magic feeling I get when watchung Star Trek stay open minded but keep your hopes in check

"Benedict Cumberwumbertumblr"
5 stars"

This movie was incredible! And you don't even have to be a trekkie fan to enjoy this movie. There was action straight from the beginning, and Benedict Cumberbatch really brought a whole new level of villain to the table.

"moving on"

There are those who feel change is a bad thing. I am such a geeky trekker I belong local and overseas ST organisations. I'm pleased to say the JJ Abrams has managed to change up the original series in this reboot enough to make it contemporary for a new generation of Trek fans whilst maintaining the essence of the old. I don't neccesarily agree with all the changes but don't feel they are of significant value to detract from what is an outstanding movie. Abrams vision of what is a longstanding piece of cinema history is bound to rub some people the wrong way but to say this is a must see is a gross understatement. Buy it, enjoy it and embrace a Star Trek of the future. May the sequels role on!
