Star Wars Full-Size LED SFX Lightsaber Torch - Darth Vader reviews

This isn't a bad product, considering all the Star Wars junk out there right now. It's not actually full sized from what I can gather even from observation from the movie, keeping in mind how tall David Prowse is. It has the cool start up and shut down lightsabre noises, but It could also use the hum. The illumination provided isn't as powerful as other LED torches you can get, but it is red so it's less harmful to your night vision, if that is a concern. Neat gimmick, not as good as a ‘real’ torch. I wish there was a way of disabling the Try Me button without taking it apart, it has a habit of nudging on with light touches. If you can't get one of those light n sound Darth Vader lightsabres they used to sell, then this isn't bad.

This torch is the most fun torch I have ever owned. I just love the way it makes the sound of a light saber turning on and off as you use it. It is well made and looks like it should last a long time. I am loving the detail of the handle, it almost looks real.

Very cool. The sound effects are genuine – when you turn it on it makes the sound of a lightsaber powering up, and when you turn it off it makes the sound of a lightsaber powering down. The “try me” switch is a little annoying because you can't deactivate it, unless you take it apart. The sounds are quite loud too, which is a little annoying when you are playing around with it. The LED light is not too bright, so is not a hazard for young children. Very cool product, and fits nicely in your hand.
