Building on the custom dice and movement mechanics of other Fantasy Flight titles but with a nod to the war gaming hobby of unpainted figures, this game takes a bit more effort to get onto the table than Star Wars: X-Wing. Its fast paced, somewhat customisable in its current limited form (that will change as more units are released) and streamlined compared to some other heavy weight tabletop wargames. I am looking forward to running a side by side X-Wing/Legion campaign to represent not only whats happening on the battlefield but also whats flying above them. Expect to see a similar World Championship series to X-Wing with the associated power builds, but hopefully with a more relaxed attitude to individualism.

The miniatures are of excellent quality. Would be nice if the tokens were plastic instead of cardboard. No rule book is included. Minis are easy to assemble. Rules are easy to follow. 5 Stars.
Medium quality miniatures, worse than some, better than many. Can be converted to individual unique poses if you want to spend the time with a hobby knife. Not sure about gameplay yet, but product components are pretty sweet. :) pewpew!
I bought two, to ensure I had enough dice and miniatures to get a proper game. My wallet cried out in pain and was suddenly silenced. No regrets. :)
Most of us who have ever wargamed are used to 2 things, Plastic Mini's being eh and prices being a joke. Surprisingly given that it's got the Star Wars label on it, Legion is neither. The plastic mini's are extremely well done, clean and require little work to get paint ready and the price point is not that bad either. All in all a good set.
