Stargate atlantis is very good can't wait for season 2 its a must buy

Stargate fans be prepared to adventure in a new galaxy and meet the new creepy bad guys and gals referred to as the Marilyn Mansons of sci fi. They're awesome

Checkout the special features on each DVD to get the insight on the Actors, the characters they portray, visit the set and meet the directors and crew who make it all possible.

My favorites: The wraith and Dr Rodney McKay. Look forward to series 2

SGI you still rule

Those who love Stargate SG1 will love this spin off series, and even those who don't know about or watch Stargate SG1 will love Stargate Atlantis. This series is more intense than Stargate SG1, in the way that there is a new, far more formidable threat than the Goa'uld, and that not only are they exploring alien worlds, but that there home base is an alien world. Some characters follow on from SG1 and have a chance to really ‘shine’. The characters are all amazing, with Dr McKay being very funny. They have great Guest Stars and the regular cast have had a lot of experience with Sci-fi shows and movies. The sets and special effects are just astonishing. The episodes are very good, and each DVD contains very interesting special features. It is definitely a great show. Very intense and filled with action, science fiction and mystery. Definitely a must-see!

Brilliant add-on to the Stargate-Universe. I would rate Atlantis higher than SG1. The characters and story-arc are great, and the isolation from Earth seems to make the story more intense.

The Season1 story-arc builds up to a great climax in the final 2 episodes (TheSiege), and many of the standalone episodes are great as well.

Though die-hard StargateSG1 fans will love the references to SG1, viewers new to the Stargate-Universe could easily enjoy Atlantis with very little knowledge of SG1

Well worth purchasing! Can't wait for Season 2!
