When I saw the pilot I reserved judgement on the series, but now that I have watched season one, it is evident that this series has evolved the Stargate story line in such a way as to revitalise it. Each episode adds new twists and dimensions to the overall series and provides infinites possibilities of where the story may go. I love science fiction in general and am pleased to see something of this quality on the market. Looking forward to season two.

Ripped from Icarus base and thrown through the Stargate to places unknown. Where are we, how will we survive, how do we get home. These are the questions that Colonel Young and his team of military and civilians are faced with when they find out where they are, and if they are ever to get home. Where will Destiny take them.

stargate universe has made a season 2 they have put the first half on syfy in usa and the 2nd half is going on syfy in spring 2011 if you enjoyed this season 1 then there will be more for you to enjoy.

This is a great series. I love that its darker than the other SG's and the conflict between the Colonel and Doctor. Robert Carlyle is awesome in this.
Nice to see it again, just about have all the SG sets, always good viewing.
Having been an SG1 mega fan this new addtion to the Stargate saga rocks. Its a great new twist to it whilst keeping the tradtions of gate travel. Can't wait to get season two and three. Rock on Mighty Ape
