"All you want in a high end keyboard at a low price"
5 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

It's got all the bells and whistles as you'd expect on high end keyboards, you got your macro keys, your macro profiles and most of all the keys are really silent compared to my other keyboard that I'm throwing out (That's slang for giving away, don't abuse your pre-loved stuff, they have feelings too, lol).

You can disable the windows key by pressing down on the Steel Series function key (Steel Series logo button) and pressing the Windows key, now the Windows Key is disabled and it won't get in between you and your games. Want to turn it back on, just do what you did before, it's that simple.

There's also media buttons on the F keys, so the Steel Series Logo Function Key makes yet another difference, you can make the back light dimmer or lighter, whichever you prefer or whichever suits you at the time of day. On the right of that is your media keys that I mentioned earlier, you got you previous track button, play/pause, next track and then you got mute, less volume and more volume, good for when you want to turn your sound down instead of turning the knob of your speakers (some headphones don't even allow you to change the volume, so there's that as well).

So there you have it, my review of this keyboard as you've read it here folks.

"One slick keyboard"
5 stars"

The Apex keyboard is very slick! It sits well on my desk, without the need for flip-down feet or any other little nuisances that other keyboards have. It's not a mechanical keyboard, but it feels really responsive so far. I can't think of any other keyboards close to the Apex for it's price.

"Unbelievably great!"
5 stars"

I used to use mechanical keyboards after they started selling them. The loud clickitty-clack was alluring at the time and became an essential for any gaming setup! Though I have to say, I replaced my 6 year old mechanical keyboard Poseidon Z from the Ttesports brand for this and I'm sold on this one.

They keys are definitely something to get used to since they're made to be smooth and ergonomic. Once you have the hang of it, you'll be enjoying the keyboard a lot more! I will say this keyboard is worth the money in the price range of 70 – $99. I wouldn't recommend spending any more on it or just wait until it is on sale. I got this one for around $95. The original listing price is $159 on MightyApe. In my opinion, wait until a sale!

"Its not bad but not the best"

I would of expected first better QA from SteelSeries but had to send my first keyboard back due to faulty keys. Having said that the second keyboard works as expected. One thing to note that wasn't in any review I read is the keys are very narrow. If you are used to touch typing you will struggle with this keyboard as my partner points out every time she gets on my PC. But hey its a gaming keyboard for a gaming PC.
