After retiring as a chief petty officer, Bob earned undergraduate and graduate degrees and has worked as an adjunct graduate instructor, shipyard welder's helper, epidemiologist, pharmaceutical trainer, small business owner, and radio host. Now considered fully disabled because of exposure to Agent Orange while in Vietnam, the Trenton, New Jersey, native makes his home in Jacksonville, Florida, near his three children and three grandchildren.
