Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury reviews

• Two games for price of one.
• 3D world is linear – my preferred style – full of creative level design that changes constantly and feels fresh every level. Very diverse stages.
• 3D world has 5 characters to play as, which is a less talked about, good selling point and rare for the franchise (like SMB2 USA).
• Bowser's Fury has the most open design from any Mario title. It is sort of like Sunshine but the entirety of the world/level design is within one open area (Lake Lapcat). The world is arguably bigger than Sunshine, in this sense, and definitely more packed and cohesive, because Sunshine required transporting player to individual levels within a beach hub.
• In Bowser's Fury I've collected 82/100 cat shrines. I'm not rushing, but I've been at it for about 8 hours casually in evenings. This expansion alone (to me) is worth $40 ish. People probably will race through a bit faster, if you're not relishing and enjoying it.
• Extremely polished two games.
• Both games use same engine but offer different experiences (linear and open).
• Worth it for full asking price. 3D world itself is absurdly long if going for completion.

Awesome as expected… Classic platforming.
