Poetry, Songs and Spoken word are all ways of expressing our selves. The title speaks for itself "Taste of My Soul". You are getting a small piece of me with this body of work. I hope that you as the reader can feel what I felt when those words were coming from my heart and being written. We all love, hate, fall in love, go through break ups, lose friendships, meet new friends, and have our faiths tested throughout our lifetimes. What we do with all of the knowledge gained, pain and joy felt, from those experiences is solely up to us. I chose to take all of those emotions and share them with the world through my writing. . I write with raw emotion. With that said, don't be offended by any of the pieces, and for those who know me, don't automatically think that any of it is about you.
