I think any book which can make both adults and children laugh is worth buying.

I brought this book to read to the children I work with at mat time, as I am an Early Childhood Teacher. The book was a hit, and the children continue to ask me to read it to them.

I bought this for my nephew's 4th birthday and he got a kick out of it. My 7th month old son also gets the giggles at the silly noises the reader has to make. Probably only worthwhile if you're happy to be a bit goofy and animated when you read it though!
This book was brought for my grand-daughter who has just graduated with a Degree in Early Childhood Education. At her request, we purchased this book from Mighty Ape and have to say that it is a fabulous book. We highly recommend it for all children. It will make them use their imaginations!!
Kids will love hearing adults read this very funny book to them.
