The Chaldean Prophecy by Dr.Yasmine Zahran is a work of visionary and metaphysical fiction Dealing with an ancient manuscript containing a Prophecy by ancient Chaldean Mystics. This was being kept at a Syriac Monastery in Jerusalem where half of it went missing.The main character was chosen because of certain blood and geneolgic lines of heritage and charged with the task of recovering the lost part and then to attend the revealing and interpretation of said manuscript(prophecy) by an international committe of experts in a wide variety of fields each in his own field, where they were assembled for such purpose.The book is permeated by espinage, intrigue, adventure, a great deal of hitory, esoterism and visionary futuristic foersights.The stage for this adventure is mainly Jerusalem then southern Turky and mesopotamia(Iraq) with the contiguous midlle eastern desert.

Author Biography:

Dr.Yasmine Zahran was born in Ramallah, Palestine. She was educated at Colombia University, New York, and the University of London, and received a doctorate in archae- ology at the Sorbonne, Paris.She worked for UNESCO for a number of years and establi- shed, directed and taught at the postgradu- ate institute of Archaeology in Jerusalem from 1991 to 1995. Dr. Zahran is the author of Septimus Severus: Countdown to death, Philip the Arab, Zenobia: Between Reality and Legend, Ghassan resurrected, The Lach- mids of Hira: Sons of the Water of Heave, Lament for Jerusalem: The Sack of Jerusalem in AI, and A Beggar at Damascus Gate. And in Arabic she authoredThe FirstTune, BatnAl- Hawa, A soul Looking for a Body, The House of the Seven Arches, The Ramallah That Was and Echoes from The History of Jordan.
