Even for the enlisted man without dependents it would the idea Of Obligation to country has been used as a cloak his poor pay and allowances. It would seem more appropriate that the nation generously reward his service and share his sacrifice. We would hope that by the time this appears in print significant salary adjustment will be on the way for armed forces personnel.
