All the answers are given in full, and yet the subjects are not ex hausted, leaving opportunity for the true work of the teacher. Some might prefer a simple reference to the Scriptures for the answer, rather than this giving of the full answer in the book, that the student might be compelled to consult the Scriptures. Both modes have their advantages; but, after consulting many who have had much experience in Sunday-school instruction, it seemed preferable to adopt the mode here followed.
