Description

This tragic story is based upon a young woman's fight for survival and acceptance, it tells of the emotional journeys in her life to find that very acceptance. From the age of just seven, her life is turned upside down by everyone around her. At such a small age she is left completely alone to fight her way through the traumas that were so cruelly thrust upon her. Her mother and father simply turned their back on her, leaving her with just her abusive stepfather to depend upon. It describes her pain, her fears, and the neglect she felt as that child and how eventually she found the strength to cope alone. As a grown woman, she writes about the dramatic impact it all had on her life and explains the many wounds that will never heal; her fight is a true inspiration to those out there that may have encountered similar experiences. Her advice may be simple but not always possible for some, to believe in yourself at all times and never allow anyone to control your inner thoughts. Have the ability to shine through the roughest of times, prove to those who have no faith in you that you are a good person who deserves better. Most importantly, be who you choose to be, not who you are moulded into being. I wish all those out there good luck for your future and I hope that given time you will find your own strength and eventually find your way home.
