The Healing Tree is Renee Danette's third published book of poetry. The poems within the pages of The Healing Tree are meant to celebrate family and personal growth in many guises. Whether it be from that one person who truly listens, to people who come together for a common purpose, or the unexpected miracles that appear suddenly in the magic of the day or the silence at night. These poems hopefully show that no matter how different we are as individuals we are still connected in some way as one spiritual unit. Though pain and disappointment may cloud some of our days there is always something that can bring hope and light to energize our belief in the healing process. Renee writes, "Through the writing of poetry I am able to recognize my indomitable life-force and pass some of that encouraging energy on to others."
