Wonderful, thought-provoking and devastating all at the same time… Thoroughly recommended.

I have watched this movie twice and really it enjoyed it.
Amazing what some women went through back in the 1960's… Fantastic movie & so pleased I have my own copy. Have seen it a few times now and enjoy it every time.
Excellent movie conveying the depth of inequality that existed between white wealthy and poor African Americans. Some poignant and painful moments interspersed with light humour! Enlightening without being too dark and depressing.
Seems southerners had a very high opinion of themselves. Disgusting treatment.
Have watched this dvd 5 times now based on a true story couldn't stop watching it five stars loved it.
The Help is very enjoyable Its about A lot of women in the 1960s looking after children. I recommend this movie.
Well done and an eyeopener even though you knew how most of the help were treated by their employers.
I thought this movie was great I rented it out 3 times then thought to my self wouldnt it be cheaper to buy it on dvd so I did I highly reccomend this to anyone its heartbreaking, funny and just goes to show what people went through back in the 60's so my advice to you is to get it
No where near as good as the book. I found the movie too slow which was a shame as the book kept my interest so much easier. Great actors though, and if you are not a book reader it might be worth a try, as it shows a small snippet of American Southern life that not many of us would know much about. Another example of the incidiousness of racism, and the strong and selfless few who were prepared to do anything to speak out against it.
I watched this after I had read the book and the book is way better but in saying that the movie isn't too bad.
Thank you for a great movie for women who were able to see past the not so good things done to them. It was funny and heart breaking in their lives who had to continue with the treatment of others who were mean. I have learnt to be grateful for others and their culture and always be kind to others after watching this. Thank you Grandma of 45
