Description

The House Maid's Story by Dhammika Abeysinghe, a girl from Maiyahawa, Kandy More than one million girls have gotten jobs working as house maids in the Middle East. This is a real book describing what really happens to the house maids. Everything described in this book really happened. All the people described in this book are real people, and the things that happened in this book really happened to them. The facts and circumstances have been chnged around a bit. Some of my friends will be angry that I have revealed their real story. Others will be happy that their story has finally been told. If they read this book, they may decide to come forward and identify themselves that they are the persons mentioned in this book. They will have trouble doing this because the same things that happened to me and my friends have happened to many other house maids. Some times the house maid has even been killed.
