Thought provoking movie based on fact. The main character Alan Turing is played beautifully both by the young lad & Benedict Cumberbatch. Makes you wonder what the world would have become without this amazing man who was subsequently destroyed by the country he worked so hard for. A +

I just loved it from the start.
This film was recommended to me and I was not disappointed. Well acted and a story well told from beginning to end. Excellent acting.
Set in wartime England in the WW2 era the film depicts the extreme effort carried out to break the German codes. This effort was successful and the film portrays both the difficulty and eventual success of the exercise from the British point of view. The film also shows clearly what it was like in those days – how hard life was and also society's attitudes to things such as sexuality etc Overall I really enjoyed it and give it top marks.
I think The Imitation Game captured the life of a mathematical genius and the time in which he lived. The story moved very well. It was also a good view of relataionships.
Up to his usual standard in my opinion, he is good to watch
Being based on true advents this is a very interesting movie, well acted, and told a story that many would not of heard about. I would not hesitate in recommending this very watchable movie.
Loved the book and but found film did not do justice to the complexity of the character of Alan Turing. Benedict Cumberbatch was excellent in the role but the script/direction let him down.
