The Danes are the best when it comes to tv drama. And this series had everything, from the storyline, direction and actors to the measured pace within each episode which kept you waiting for the next episode. In a word gripping tv.

A great story with well drawn characters, part detective story, part political thriller. Why can't the British and the Americans make TV like this-
I found the movie very Dark (not bright enough) almost all of it was apparently filmed in the dark with only minimal lighting.. I really had to concentrate on reading the sub-titles – it was more like reading a book, because at times it was so dark – literally couldn't see anything on the screen at all.. but the story was addictive – certainly kept you coming back for more..
Thoroughly enjoyed the first two seasons and this one was just as good. Utterly compelling!
This is the best subtitled series I have ever seen. If you like a good thriller/detective then this for you. Highly recommended however watch season 1 and 2 first :-)
