"Rewarding beautiful story"
5 stars"

Controversial reviews overall.

I liked the game and continued to think about it after finishing – good atmosphere and positive feelings toward a game does that.

Controls were fine, sufficed for this experience. The slow heavy pace of the boy shows trepidation in his movement, which fits, given hes young and in a threatening setting. Regarding commanding the beast – its GOOD (shock) AI when he doesn't respond properly to your every command. This AI is intended to give beast independence as its own being.

Liked the story, atmosphere, art direction – it was engaging and I didn't get annoyed with it. Take that as you will, but seriously game needs more love.

An incredible game, rich scenery and a strong musical score. Not your normal everyday game, very deep and measures emotion versus action. Well worth it for your gamer that needs something more challenging

"Hipsters Hyping this up"
2 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

I had pre-ordered this game in June 2016, along with No Man's Sky, and completely forgot about this preorder. Got charged and received the game in the mail in December. But no worries, heard a lot of positive things about this game, unlike No Man's Sky.

The positives: It is unique. The negatives: Horrible camera angles; Horrendous character movement and gameplay; Very slow game that is not for mainstream audiences; Hardly any soundtrack (which could be a reason to why its so bloody slow).

I had no expectations from this game, but whenever I play it, it just leaves me feeling annoyed. I wouldn't call it a game, I would classify it as a controllable movie.

Honestly, after 2 bad preorders, I am pretty reluctant to preorder any more. The main problem lies with the developers and publishers that do not release an official demo. Instead, they only disclose a gameplay trailer (which is just upscaled in graphics), and for release it is downgraded tremendously. This just shows that these devs are not confident enough in their game to let the audience play a demo. The videogame industry is just turning into a major scam.

"Cool visuals and premise but waste of money"

This is the MOST frustrating game I have ever encountered. Shithouse controls/game mechanics and lousy cam angles. Zero effort seems to have been put into the soundtrack too for a game with very little story line. I get what the games about, and could have been really great but they didnt actually do anything amazing with it.

"Frustrating"
2 stars"

It has a cool graphics, but the gameplay is awkward and clumsy, and the puzzles arn't very cleaver there just a matter of trying to get the beast to go where you want it to, which is easier said than done.
