The Last of Us Remastered reviews

I played through this multiple times on last gen and already on my second playthrough on the remastered (don't worry it's a long game I just play alot :p) But everything about this game is great, the graphics, the game mechanics, the ai, the characters, but most importantly, the story. The game has a good mixture of peacefulness where you get to admire the beauty of the game, then into some action that can challenge even a skilled gamer, all the while keeping you attached to the characters. This game is a must have for all Playstation owners

Had a Xbox 360 last gen so I never got to play the The Last Of Us, but now I can! This game is amazing, the story, the characters, the gameplay, the graphics, all fantastically done. A must own for PS4 owners!

Never got to play this last gen – kinda glad because with the graphical update, to go with the amazing voice acting/mocap and story this game is easily Top 5 games of all time. This isn't a game, its an expereince. This is a game that puts video games on the same level as cinema.

I played this through on the PS3 many times before upgrading to the PS4. This version is just better – it runs smoother, looks sharper, less screen shudder, etc. The game challenges what games could/should be, and runs almost akin to a deep, harrowing cinematic experience. The writing and acting is excellent. The violence is sudden, frenetic and harrowing. In my opinion, this game has only got better with time. If you're after Grand Theft Auto or a multiplayer shooter, you're in the wrong place. But if you're after a top-shelf title that takes an unflinching look at post-apocalypse humanity, as beautiful as it is brutal, then look no further.

It's a gud gam

Best game I have played on any ps surpasses previous favourites Drake and Batman. Beautiful graphics, great character interactions and storytelling with exciting gameplay.

Awesome game to play with great graphics

Seriously, this is a must-own for PS4 owners – especially if you missed out one the PS3 edition. This is buy far one of the best looking, and playing games I've seen in a while.

Have this game on ps3, but didn't hesitate to buy it for ps4 graphics wise on ps3 they are brilliant, but on ps4 they are just astounding and furthermore game developers are going to have trouble improving on this game,

I really enjoyed this game. I thought the end was a bit of a let down tho. I won't say to much about it, only that I don't think you'll be disappointed if you get this game.

Such a classic and emotional zombie/apocalypse styled game. If you want something that is like a RPG mixed with a shooter then you'll love this. Full of story and action and you get the Left Behind DLC too!

Words cannot tell how great of a game this is. The story that this game tells, how it portrays loss and reconnection. The first 20 minutes will have you either drenched in tears or not wanting to put the controller down until you have finished the whole game. Most people say this is of a cinema level storytelling- that's not true, the storytelling is far better than any movie I've seen. This is one of those games that will get remastered many times on each console. Games of this calibre are rare these days. A must buy.

Not just a shoot 'em up but a bit of a stealthy puzzler too with a great story. Already hooked.

Some of the actions of the character are a bit slow but all in all a good game

Ordered the game and when it was delivered it was like the game was bouncing around in the case the whole time, scratches on the disk, little disappointed but still very happy with how speedy delivery was :)

It's a truly great game

Really love this game… I keep going back to play this game more than the others, really addictive plus I like the fact that when you waste your ammo, you have to go stealth… Takes planning to a whole new level on how to attack a scenario. Will worth it ")

I have been an avid Xbox fan since the original console , when I decided to switch it was due to there being more games of interest to me on the PS4 platform, this game alone was worth the switch . Im not ashamed to say I was in tears in the first 5 mins and could not stop playing as I was so invested in the characters and there journey

First game I've ever played and finished right until the end. Lovely graphics and great story. Must have for PS4 gamers who love a sense of adventure.

This game is amazing. Have recently picked this up after years of being out. The detail of the environments is a sight to be seen. Naughty Dog has done well with the small details. Its an amazing gaming experience.

This game never get boring, the new graphics are awesome, infected are original and story is pretty damn good too.

Perfect for beginner to experienced Zombie hunters.

The scenery and graphics are amazing, some of the best I have seen on PS4 so far. The characters are extremely well portrayed and the voice acting is superb. The only downside (in my opinion) is that the story-line was very predictable as it follows the usual ‘zombie apocalypse’ cliches.

Been waiting to get my hands on this game for over a year now! Haven't stopped playing since I got it! Honestly one of the greatest games I've played. Straight away was connected to the characters and the story, would definitely recommend to anyone!

What an incredible game. I have been playing the single player over and over. Also the multiplayer is great. Graphics are the best. This game is worth every cent.

Yeah the writing is great and the characters are great and I bonded with Ellie and yadda yadda yadda, but I think the actual gameplay, what you spend most of your time doing, is actually a bit dull and repetitive, and the combat can be quite frustrating.

It does look beautiful on the PS4 though.

For the perfect balance between gameplay, graphics and plot, this is it. Stunning game, moving story, fun to play and the difficulty settngs are well set up to make easy actually easy and grounded actually challenging.
