It has all the emotion of a 17 year old girl, who needs her father and her religion. It is a happy uplifting story well worth the read.

This is my favourite book of all time. Its written so beautifully and in depth, and nicholas sparks is just an amazing writer. This book is a brilliant love story, and in my opinion (even though I still love the series) is better than the twilight saga. And the movie is just as good! highly recommended, you won't regret buying it!
I read this book recently, and I have to admit it really made me cry. I'm not going to recount what it is about as that is just above, but the characters are very well developed, and despite always thinking of Miley Cyrus as Ronnie, the character really took on her own identity in my head.
The story of losing a father is truly heartbreaking, and I love Nicholas Sparks' ability to capture raw emotion in his novels. People can say what they like about him, but I'm a fan! This book would make a lovely gift for a teenage girl/young lady looking to transition to more mature reading.
