On planet Tartarus, Exobiologist Jules Rammis is searching for the missing link between the reptiles of the alien world and life on Earth. After archaeologist Christine Saynes disappears, Jules is assigned to find the missing scientist. Unknown to them, deep beneath the planet's surface lie the Loranth. Intelligent and peaceful, they are content to let the Terrans be - except for the one in whose lair Jules unwittingly stumbles. After he learns of the alien's cruel plan, long-kept secrets awaken within Jules. He has a choice to make: either let his guilt swallow him whole, or step up and save all humankind.

Author Biography

I've always loved the ocean, and science fiction. I discovered the world beneath the surface when my brother gave me a plastic mask and fins for my seventeenth birthday and the dirty waters and small brown fish of Brooklyn's Sheepshead Bay lifted veils to another world at our doorstep. Science fiction did the same for my imagination.
