I have been looking for this music CD for months , for my dad, I could not get it here in Australia . It took me less then 5 mins to find it at Mighty Ape and two days to be delivered to my front door. I will be using Mighty Ape for future purchases and recommending Mighty Ape to my friends. During his life, the late Prince Tui Teka was a massively important figure in the music of New Zealand, and his legacy still lives on today. His travelling shows through the country became legendary. Hundreds would come to see him – they would laugh, dance & delight in his rich voice.
This collection of Maori songs showcases his talent perfectly. These favourites were a mainstay in his live performances and are very well known, particularly “Pokarekare Ana” & “Hoki Mai”.
Tui's ‘Maori Album’ remains a must have in any kiwi music collection and is also a great souvenir for tourists, given the New Zealand cultural importance of these recordings.
