Author Biography:

CHRISTOPHER W. MOORE, Ph.D., was trained as a mediator bythe U.S. Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service (1979) and theAmerican Arbitration Association (1976). He has worked as amediator, facilitator, and consultant in over 50 countries and hasextensive experience developing dispute resolution systems. He isthe coauthor of The Handbook of Global and MulticulturalNegotiation and A Guide to Designing and ImplementingGrievance Mechanisms for Development Projects, in addition tonumerous journal articles and manuscripts on disputeresolution.
