In her latest attempt to give the S.O.S. Brigade more public exposure, Haruhi signs the group up for the city-wide baseball tournament. Kyon manages to scrape together a full nine-person team, but it seems the only one with any talent for baseball is Haruhi.
Ah well, it's just a friendly game, right? Not so. With the team down nine to nothing, Haruhi's fury is causing open dimensional spaces which threaten to destroy the world! Time for the groups' unusual members to step it up and play ball...
