It has been thought Wise at this time to replace it with another, in some respects better adapted for use at this date. The Scripture selections are made from the Revised Version, and are in each section printed in the order in which they occur in our Bibles. It has been borne in mind that services con ducted by ministers of our order are free and scriptural, and that any liturgical forms which are the product of individual composition or selection are acceptable each to a very limited circle. A few selected prayers from the ancient liturgies have been placed in a separate section. A few forms of letters most frequently needed and the order of procedure at the councils of most constant occurrence have been included, as well as a summary of the rules of order which facilitate the transaction of business in ecclesiastical meetings.
