Author Biography:

Stern is the author of fourteen books, including This Time, which won the 1998 National Book Award. He is the recipient of the Lamont Poetry Prize, the Ruth Lilly Prize, the 2005 Wallace Stevens Award, and the 2005 National Jewish Book Award. In 2006, Stern was named a Chancellor of the Academy of American Poets.
