Author Biography:
Making a home cooked meal requires many ingredients, especially when you are from New Orleans. The same goes for creating an amazing children's book. The most important ingredient is love. Author Michelle Knight, retired Army Veteran, wife to a Marine Veteran, mother, and grandmother to one, intentionally and unapologetically focuses on this most important ingredient, love. Earning her Masters, Author Knight believes the best degree one can have is life experience. Through trials and tribulations, Author Knight developed a passion to teach through writing, but also create a multicultural message, hence her motto, "Reading Reality is Essential. Assisting our children through today, for a better tomorrow."
