Description

Internationally renowned teacher Victoria Findlay Wolfe invites quilters to treasure their vibrant community while making blocks for an Experience Quilt. These complete instructions and patterns for 12 original quilt block designs, each representing a profound life theme such as "Friendship," "Aging," "Celebration," and "Grief," let readers create an Experience Quilt rich with their personal narrative. • 12 original block designs by Victoria each include clear instructions with multiple sizes and colorway variations. • Includes 11 additional projects--quilts and pillows--that your blocks can build. • Technique lessons and tips on, for example, efficient partial seam construction, to collage together blocks of various sizes beyond a basic grid layout. • Victoria Findlay Wolfe welcomes quilters to claim their place in the diverse community that includes many ages, backgrounds, skill levels, and life journeys. • With the power of a quilting bee conversation, thought-provoking, poignant, and amusing stories shared by diverse quilters illuminate each theme. • In Victoria's signature way, these designs appeal to historical-, traditional-, and modern-focused quilters alike. • A foreword by Meg Cox emphasizes how diversity among quilters offers strength to all.
