The Rapture of Trauma is a fictitious narrative of Daniel Farrell growing up in the 1930's to his teen years, believing he is a white American. On the brink of graduating from high school he is informed he is a Negro and is given the choice to live out the balance of his life in the life- style of his father's family in which he had grown up or to pursue the life style of his mother's family with which he had had little contact. The story follows four generations of his subsequent choice.
