The Resistance is the sequel to The Declaration. If you liked the first book, you will equally like this one. It packs just as much of a punch as the first one. It's a worthy sequel, staying true to the characters and adding new levels of intrigue, peril, and ethical debate. This story moves fast and draws you in the same as the previous book but focuses on the Resistance and the struggles Peter and Anna face being Legal and being so young when Adults are so fearful of youth. Further explored here are trust, bioethics, liberation, freedom of choice, and oddly believable economics. Gemma Malley delivers another thrilling read.
