-Mr. Siluk was awarded a Diploma of Recognition by Los Andes Peruvian University, in Huancayo, Peru for outstanding literary achievement and promoting the Culture of the Mantaro Valley 12012006; also, awarded a Diploma of Testimony of Honor by "The College of Journalists of Peru", for his (poetic) writings, and contributions. -Mr. Siluk was appointed Poet Laureate of San Jeronimo, Peru (2005); in 2006, given the (Gold) Grand Cross of the City. The book: "The Road to Unishcoto", (sequel to: 'The Magic of the Avelinos') contains an epic poem about a Wanka warrior (his last battle). Also, there are poems on many of the Andean cities thereof. Again we see the culture, beauty and customs of the Mantaro Valley (Peru), flourish in Dennis' poetry. Dennis lives with his wife Rosa, in Saint Paul, Minnesota (USA), in Lima, and the Mantaro Valley of Peru. This is Dennis? 35th book, 11th in poetry, and his 5th on Peru. Winner of two columnists? awards (2004, 2005) and awarded The English Magazine?s top story of the month (October, 2006).
