"For the collector/art book purist"

Firstly, let me just advise, this is not your typical gaming Art Book, like ‘The Art of..... Uncharted 2, Tomb Raider, Bioshock’ etc. You won't get detailed descriptions from Art Directors/Production team about their concept art, character and environment design.

What you will get is a very polished collection of art by Yoshitaka Amano, packaged to a very high quality level, well above your typical gaming art book. It is expensive, but if you really like Final Fantasy AND art, it is worth adding to your collection.

"Freakin' Amazing!"

This art book is mind-blowing, pure and simple. When you first receive it, you will be gobsmacked with the size and weight. Then when you actually look through it, you will be amazed. Not your standard art-book, and maybe every Final Fantasy fan will enjoy it as others, but if you love Amano's work as much as I do, you will realise it is so worth the money.

This is a high quality series of artbooks immaculately presented. Its interesting to see how amano's art style evolves throughout the course of the series and definitely worth picking up for any collector/ fan of the series. This is going to live on my coffee table forever

The Art of Final Fantasy is a series of books composed of artwork and concept design on the first ten games in the series. The art style is unique and compelling to look at, and provides a style of imagery unseen before. The only downside some people may have is that some of the games (the most artistically impressive, no less) are somewhat glossed over, but in a compilation that's to be expected. I would recommend this not just for fans of the series, but anyone looking for artistic inspiration.
