Campbell's publi cation of the debate between him and Mr. Walker, in Mount Pleasant, 0hio, -june, 1820. This remarkable man is not sa-s tisfied with, a friendly investigation of the subject and mode of baptism, but he undertakes to prove that our practice is injw rims to the well-being qf society, religious andpolz'ticalfi' and to the discussion of this question as well as the other, he pub lishes at the close of his debate, what he himself expressly calls an invitation. Or challenge to any Pedo-bamist minister. It soon appeared that a subscription paper was in Circulation for the joint purpose of requesting a Visit from Mr. Campbell, and Of paying his expenses.
