Born in Baltimore, Maryland Nelson E. Allen has held leadership positions in such organizations as the Boy Scouts, civic groups, fraternal orders, lay ministries and, occupational assignments. His professional career has ranged from retail to the private sector to civil service. Raised with the knowledge of Jesus Christ, several years ago he recommitted to the church then happened to take the notion of "Yes Lord" quite seriously. Holding integrity as his highest principle, he has a firm commitment to diversity and consistently strives to add value to all undertakings. Earning a doctorate in educational administration, he holds a M.S. in management and employee development as well as a B.A. in business administration and psychology. Dr. Allen and his wife Joan along with their children Maleich and Kayla reside in Baltimore County, Maryland. The family actively worships and is spiritually fed at Pennsylvania Avenue A.M.E. Zion Church in Baltimore City, Maryland.
