Author Biography:

Born Irkston Robert "Rob" Jackson III to the late Mr. and Mrs. Irkston R Jackson, Jr. Rob grew fond of writing poetry during the summer of 2009. During this period he had the opportunity of meeting a new friend that inspired him and took a liking to many of his first poems. The reading of Rob's poems will bring joy, sadness, smiles and lift you up spiritually. Get ready for the poetry ride of your life. Rob is a native Brooklyn, New Yorker, who grew up in the Crown Heights and East New York sections. A graduate of Berkeley College with a degree in Business Management. Rob grew up playing basketball with former basketball stars such as Albert King of the New Jersey Nets and Rolando Blackman of the Dallas Mavericks. Rob is currently a basketball official at the NCAA Division II and III levels. Rob has twenty-eight years in the financial institution industry and has worked as a Client Relationship Manager In Santa Barbara, Califorina and Raleigh, North Carolina. He enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends.
