Another top game by this designer. The components and artwork are stunning and there is nothing I'd change about the game. I have also purchased and pre-ordered a bunch of add-ons. The reviews are also great for this game!

This game is fun. It's easy to learn, easy to play and perfect for anybody who finds Japanese culture interesting.
I love playing this game, and I am really happy with this purchase. Complex, yet simple, strategic but not aggressively competitive. A perfect relaxing board game.
Tokaido is just the kind of game I like to have. Its not too hard to pick up, so inviting new players is pleasant, it has some cool mechanics that are really fun like collecting pieces and completing sets. It can be really competitive if you want it to be or really relaxing. Simple yet very fun. Just the right amount of time to complete the game, too.
Pretty board, however, a very simple game.
