Featuring great music and believable action sequences, this movie will make a suburb addition to anyone's movie collection.
Great action
Love the start with the music and aircraft!
This film is super great in bluray with soundtrack to match. Even if made years ago it will still be a winner with the flying action and a bit of romance added in
Excellent visuals and a magnificent soundtrack add to the presence of a stellar 80s cast. Story and character development are not the strong suits but in Blu-Ray with all those great action sequences who cares? A classic of the 80s looking great in the 21st Century
Don't normally like Tom Cruise in anything, but this movie more than makes up for his acting. The fight scenes are believable and not overdone like a lot of today's CGI. If you haven't already seen it, you will love it and if you have you will enjoy just as much the second time around.
One of my favorite films growing up .......... Still a classic
From the opening sequence, the stunning aerial photography, this film is a must. A great sound track brings this movie to life. This movie is awesome on Blu Ray, crank up the volume and let it rumble, makes you feel you are there amongst the action. A great cast from some very young Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer, to oldies like Michael Ironside and Tom Skerrit, bring together the rookies and experienced pilots. Who cant forget “You got that loving feeling” Kelly McGillis. Overall excellent quality, and one to remember. " I feel the need, the need for speed."
Without doubt this is a must have for anyone with a love for all things manly! combine this with a half decent surround setup and you'll catch yourself checkin your six for incoming MIGs! Tom Cruise was born to be Maverick and its fair to say that he peaked while playing this role. this will make a great addition to your collection and is one of those movies that can be watched over and over again without losing its excitement and watchability.
