Description

"Twimfina" is a secular, public-domain musical that celebrates active pacifism. It is scored for piano and quite a few singers/actors of all ages, making it ideal for a progressive community theater company. It is divided into 20 segments, many of which can stand alone as short skits. The entire musical play lasts nearly 2.5 hours. A sequel to the book "Aren't We the Lucky Ones," this musical tells the story of Twimfina, a young science-minded woman who sees the world as a machine and herself as a machinist. She doesn't put people into groups, and doesn't regard anybody as "good" or "bad." She doesn't recognize boundaries or barriers between people, but instead accepts everybody as an equal. In this story, Twimfina will find herself in situations where her ideals will be put to the test. This is Edition 31 of the book - hopefully the final one. However if any further changes are made, they'll first appear on the twimfina.com website. (Indeed the entire book can be freely downloaded from there). Songs Include: - Out of this Mud - Go Where I Wanna Go - Brick after Brick - Do What We Do - Keep Us Open, Keep Us Free - My Garden, It Doesn't Have Weeds - One World, One Song (aka "Peace Machine") - Stranger in the Ocean - Live, Let Live - Animals of the Planet Earth - The World Is My Family, I'm Not Afraid - This Happening Must Happen - Stay With Me - I am a Scientist - Good Guys with Guns - Yes and No - Nonviolence / One by One - Peace To You From Language #2 - Jeeno Casino - We are the Fountains - Come Live With Us
