"Beatifully detailed and loads of fun. "
4 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

I'm one of the few who actually liked the first Two Worlds but I knew that Two Worlds II had to be a huge improve or else the franchise would die a painful death. And it is! Two Worlds II is stunningly beautiful to look at, with a wide variety of untamed scenery and magnificently detailed architecture – both inside and out with both characters and NPCs wearing costumes with exquisite detail in sumptuous fabrics. Two Worlds II has several large islands to explore that are crammed with a wide variety of wildlife to hunt and kill and with loads of side-quests you'll get to see all of it. Instead of ‘stacking’ weapons and armour, as in the first game, you're able to disassemble excess items and use the parts to improve your favourite weapons and armour. If you fancy your skill at alchemy there're plenty of plants to find and combine with interesting results. If you're a fan of The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion and FallOut type of free-ranging RPG you'll love Two Worlds II, and even if you're not I'm certain you'd like it too.

"Who would have thought a sequel could be this much fun!"
5 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

While the original Two Worlds was panned by critics around the world, I can personally testify that the sequel is a very different beast! Full of lush environments and dynamic lighting the sequel boasts an experience that while still a little ham-fisted in its delivery, is never the less a hell of a lot of fun! There's just tonnes to do, and a very satisfying RPG experience to be had with diverse character leveling and progression. You're always being rewarded for whatever you're doing, and never seem to be short of skill points to invest in your fantasy powerhouse. Of particular note is the spell creation system which is one of the more interesting that I have come across. Once you've invested enough points in the appropriate skills you will absolutely marvel at what you can achieve. While a little a slow to start, persevere and there is an extremely satisfying RPG experience to be had. A big thumbs up from me, and also a big thank you to Mighty Ape for importing the game!!

"Hours and hours of gameplay!!"
5 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

If you area big oblivion fan you will love this game. Defintly a step up from oblivion, lots of different landscapes, enemys, weapons, better fighting style, just all round upgrade of oblivion. I got it an went to play for 10min to see what it was like an 4 hours later thought I better turn it off. Hours and hours of gameplay an easy to get addicted to, solid 5 stars from me.

"Movement is fiddly."
4 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

My only complaint about this game is that the character movement is not as smooth as it could be, horse riding is even worse. The movement relies to heavily on one analog stick, when it could have been spread out more evenly over the two sticks.

The customization in this game is pretty awesome, down to being able to change the colour of your armour. And there is lots more to like, but the other reviews have covered most of that.

I would have to give Oblivion the edge over this game, but that is just my opinion. If there is Two Worlds III, lets hope it gives Skyrim a run for its money.

"Worst Game Ever Played"
1 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

This is by far the worst game I've ever played. It was so terribly made that after 5 hours of gameplay I simply got fed up with it. The amount of glitches is unbelievable for a game that was meant to be a contender for The Elder Scrolls IV position of best RPG, and just the overall quality is of mediocre grade. Highly unrecommended. If you're unlucky and bought it like me, definitely trade-in material.

"Fun interactive game"
4 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

When I set out to buy a game Two Worlds II didn't even enter the arena, that's because I didn't even know it existed.I hadn't played the first one but from some accounts that was probably a good thing, and even then I only really brought it because it was an extremely good price and the action shots displayed on Mighty Ape made it look appealing.Well I can truly say here and now that I am very pleased with the game, you go from basically being able to do really nothing with your weapons/armour to being able to craft new gear, better gear learn spells and really enjoy some decent battles. With all that said though I am only giving it good on the Star rating with four stars because even though it was a load of fun I still enjoy my guns better.

While visually rough with some questionable animation, this game has a decent story and an okay fighting system. The magic and weapons systems are pretty basic, with a swapout system for magic having elements play the role of attacks. Overall this is a fairly basic rpg suiting a younger crowd how like simplistic missions and gameplay.

"Not bad, not great. "

Basically a middleweight RPG, standard fantasy story, nice graphics, not bad combat. Nothing too epic.

"Thanks Sam!"
3 stars"

I was considering buying this game – I played the first Two Worlds and it was by far the worst RPG I had ever played. It was clunky and ugly. It was the only game I have ever returned to the competition within 7 days to get my money back – I paid nothing for it but it was worth even less.

I don't like to hold a game's predecessor against it, and the trailer for this one looks really nice. That is unless you have played the first one – the movement looks to be as poor and the graphics certainly aren't up to par. The English looks about as broken from what I have seen as well.

If it wasn't for Sam's, albeit short, review on MA I probably would have purchased it – but his reaction is exactly the same as mine for the first game. Definitely staying away!
