Meghan Telpner is a holistic nutritionist based in Toronto and director of the Meghan Telpner Cooks culinary school. She is a contributor to a number of publications, including Women's Day, Huffington Post, Glow, National Post, and has appeared on a variety of television and radio shows in Canada. She offers popular online courses, in-person retreats, and one-on-one services.Meghan changed careers from fashion to nutrition after diagnosis with a serious form of Crohn's disease, a condition she was told was incurable with her only options being surgery and strong medication. Never one to play by the rules, Meghan chose to keep her intestines intact and reclaimed her health with yoga, meditation, acupuncture, Chinese herbal remedies and nutritional modifications. Low and behold, nearly five years later, she remains 100% symptom free.Described as "the greatest health fueling party in Toronto," her cooking school, where she teaches classes, including Canada's only 200-hr Culinary Nutrition Expert Certification Program.
