It is because of this game that I do no longer trust Gamespot reviews when buying games. This game does not deserve the 88% rating they gave it.
Don't get me wrong, it's not a complete failure. The storyline is decent enough. A person sucked into a movie starts making fun of all the stupid things movie characters do.
The main problem I think is the gameplay and level design. The gameplay basically just consists of the player holding down the slow button while mashing the punch button. The levels are really repetitive. Some have minor differences which only affect a tiny part of the level. I gave up after 4 out of an estimated 10 levels.
Capcom should abandon this series and focus on the Devil May Cry series. Don't bother with this game, save up for Devil May Cry 3.
