the fact that dawn of war 2 was (apparently) a failure doesn't say much for this expansion pack.however dawn of war 2's campaign was one of the best campaigns that i have ever played skirmish maps were neglected BADLY but otherwise it was a great game, sure it was nothing like the original game of dawn of war but it was still good. this expansioni think will have better skirmish maps and gameplay as of the new race to play with.
