"Awesome Game"
5 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

I followed this game before it came out and decided on getting it when it came out.

Got the game and started playing it haven't had any issues or performance issues plays great and the city has life & personality which is a change from other open world games just today was in a park people playing soccer & someone flying his quadcopter about.

The hacking mechanics of the game are fun and a different way to play with the world like attempting to use bollards to launch cars and all the side games are great fun.

Need a mission break- Why not fly through the city bouncing off giant flowers or climb up walls in a Spidertank or better yet look like the other silly people going pew pew pew at imaginary aliens in augmented reality.

When a break is needed there is loads to do in the city and I'm having lots of fun so far I've probably played for over 30 hours to date.

"Doesn't live up to the hype, but isn't bad..."
3 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

This game is nowhere near close to living up to the massive amount of hype that it produced, but it is still quite fun. PC has some serious optimization problems that can be very frustrating, and I have not received all of the DLCs that I was supposed to receive with my ANZ special edition and Ubisoft do not seem like they are going to resolve it any time soon.

"Good fun game, not perfect, but a lot of fun anyways"
4 stars"

Had no problems running the game on an i7 with GTX780 graphics card. Played on ultra settings without any problems and thought the graphics looked great.

My initial impressions of playing was that the driving was bad, but the more I played it and the more car unlocks and skill upgrades I got, the easier driving became.

I enjoyed the combat and some of the side missions were fun too. Really liked the Gang Hideout side missions. Being able to hack traffic lights, cameras etc while driving and running around is also a unique experience that this game offers.

The main story is ok. It is a good vehicle for throwing a wide variety of missions and scenarios for the player to overcome.

The game isn't perfect, having to stop and get out of the car to disable a helicopter is a bit bung and not being able to shoot from the car when driving is also frustrating. The main Aiden character is somber and boring, he needs some prozac and a girlfriend. I also found him to be creepily close to his sister… Bit too much love there.

The online play is also unique, someone invading your single player game is a novel idea at first, but can become annoying.

Looking forward to Watch Dogs 2. Im hoping they will take the core of this game and polish and improve on it in certain areas and im sure it will be sequel worth playing.

Neways in-spite of a few negatives, I felt that the game was fun and enjoyable and id have no problems recommending it to open world game fans. 4 out of 5.

"A very frustrating game"

I wish I could honestly say that the game lives up to the hype… But I can't. Forget what the documentation and the game's website says about redeeming the additional content, because it will tell you that the code is invalid, whether you typed in the code exactly as it appears on the documentation or not. After figuring out how to unlock the content (the cog in U-Play then “Activate product” then entering the code), you get to see about 2 minutes of the opening cutscene to the game, before it presents you with a black screen and nothing else. After updating your video card driver, which Ubisoft suggests will resolve that issue, you will learn that you will just have to take their word for it, as the game will then crash before even getting as far as to start the opening cutscene.

Ubisoft pushed the release date on this title back 3 months… Which, as it turns out, probably should have been 3 years. In their quest to not have to spend tens of thousands of euro by extending the pre-release development period, Ubisoft may find that it backfires when their customers desert them in droves.

If you enjoy spending $90 on a game that will take up 25Gb of your hard drive capacity for the spectacular image of an error message, then Watch Dogs is definitely the game for you. If not, then save yourself the aggravation, the time and the money, and look for a game that actually works.

"Stay away from this game"
1 stars"

Three words Shitty Console Port

This game is boring and repetitive, I was sick of it after 30 minutes literally because the movement made me feel nauseous.

The controls are horrible and there is no where in game to make any changes, the mouse either moves like its on P, jerking all over the place in the menus or like you are pushing it through mud in the game screen and I dare you to get in a car and make it to where you are going in once piece or without killing a pedestrian.

I regret buying this game, especially as I got the Dedsec edition, so much potential in this and it falls flat on its face.

A great game to play. You get to drive trucks, cars and motorbikes, run around hacking peoples bank accounts and taking down crime gangs. All the while trying to find the person responsible for causing the death of you niece. It is a great game and I am enjoying it a lot.

"Astonishingly, amazingly bad. Save your money."

The most boring over hyped gimmick to be released in the last decade. Save your money. – defines what repetitive is. – astonishingly bad graphics compared to the demo's that were shown. – lifeless protagonist. – god awful driving. – runs terrible on most above average systems. -can be completed in a mere 10 hours with the side stuff barely keeping you interested. – “hacking” gets real old soon.
