I brought this DVD to send to a cousin in Holland. I wanted to buy it from the moment I saw the first program. This is high quality production showing NZ at its finest.

Gus and his crew have done a great job, having been an expat for a few years my love for this wild country has been inspired so much so with a tear in my eye I feel my return awaits, this time with a much renewed vigour for adventure.

I have not viewed the DVD yet as I bought it as a gift for my Kiwi son who lives in Qatar and I am taking it over to him in a couple of weeks. I absolutely loved the TV series and I know he will too and will show it to his many friends of different nationalities. Hopefully, they will want to come to our magnificent country for a visit.

Should attract other people to visit me here in kerikeri, should I finally get a retired residence permit for this gorgeous country

This is not the usual tour of NZ. The cities are left out and national parks are the focus. The photography is outstanding. You will not find this type of scenery anywhere else in the world and its so easy to get there. The mountains and fiords are majestic.

I am totally inspired by this series and determined to go and see wild New Zealand for myself after watching these programs. I have sent a copy of the DVD to family in England and I am sure they will be back to NZ soon to visit some of the places on the DVD. Amazing.

The photography, content, and commentary are outstanding, especially when local experts are included. The photography is stunning – I wish the series could be available in Blu-ray !

Great cinematography – bought one for my daughter studying Ecology and Film – watched it, enjoyed it that much have just ordered another as an Xmas gift for family in UK. Stunning. Glad to live in this amazing country, now have a list of places to visit this summer.
