Hard to use. Have to follow IP address given that takes about 30 try’s to load and then log into on the internet which then you have to log out go back to wifi settings log into the anycast wifi which then alows you to surf the net. Netflix or Disney plus and any other big time sites won’t allow you to cast through this device as it’s classed as a " mirroring device" which they don’t allow to use. It still work but only on small things like YouTube and hbo but it’s pretty limited to what you can see and watch, recommend getting a different product.

I got this as a Christmas gift, we all thought it would function as a chromecast. But it doesn't… You can't add it to your Google home as Google won't find it, you can't cast any YouTube videos (which I was using for testing) all you can do is cast your screen to the TV and then either display it as a phone layout or desktop layout, which has a messed up resolution because it just mirrors your phone screen and blows it up (the lag on the desktop is unbearable too) . Honestly this thing is nothing more than a paper weight, but it's really light so it's even bad at that. Just spend the extra 20 or so dollars and get an actual chromecast. Also just in case anybody thinks I'm being obtuse. They actually call this thing a chromecast on the box “TV streaming device by Google” they can't even spell streaming and they have a 4k in a monitor symbol thing on the top left of the box (which would indicate 4k resolution) but the specs clearly say 1080p. It's just lying at every step.

I can't get anything to cast to it, nothing registers it as an option to cast to. I got it to connect to WiFi easy enough, but as for ‘easy sharing’, pay the extra from a real Chromecast.

I bought this because I thought I could cast the uncastable to the tv – some iOS apps and video streaming don’t support Chromecast – it’s hard to connect this device to the WIFI, and even when you do get connected it can’t receive anything other than screen mirroring, which is also prevented by certain apps and streaming. I know this was a cheap to buy as I wanted to see if it would work. I should have saved my money and bought the major supported devices (actual Chromecast and an Apple TV).

I bought two of these and I am unable to connect it to work with my laptop and my phone!!!!
